number one, two, three…
Beaten,
defeated…<\/h2>\n
Is that all there is to what I’ve risked my life for?

However, if I hadn’t continued to challenge myself, I would never have met myself.<\/p>\n

Karate is the union of heaven and earth.
I want everyone to understand that, even if only a little.
That’s what I want to spend the rest of my karate life doing.
People come to the karate dojo to throw away their stress, or to show their ego that they are the best, or to try to beat someone.<\/p>\n

Is that what the dojo is for?<\/h2>\n

I think not.<\/p>\n

I think not. I think everyone has a hard time every day at work or at school.<\/p>\n

That’s why I would like you to go to the dojo for one and a half hours in a 24-hour period, to take in the cosmic energy in the dojo, to become one with the earth from the soles of your feet, to feel that everything is one and the same, and to make it such a wonderful time.<\/p>\n
